French Drains

These drain systems are commonly found in low areas where water tends to stand for extended periods of time after a rainstorm. French Drains are trenches that are lined with a filtration fabric, and filled with perforated pipe and drainage stone to help redirect surface water and groundwater from a particular area. These may be used in open areas and even near building foundations to help mitigate damages caused from poor drainage. French drains are designed for grass to grow on top of them making them undetectable in your yard.
